RFK Jr. Links Mass Shootings to Psychotropic DrugsDuring his Twitter Spaces event on June 5, 2023, – the 55th anniversary of the 1968 shooting of his father, Robert F. Kennedy, in California – Robert F. Kennedy Jr. addressed gun violence, saying, “I’m not going to take away anybody’s guns.”
He also promised to “look very closely at the role of psychiatric drugs” in mass shootings, something that “should have been done years ago.”
Some psychiatrists and other health care professionals have long suspected that mind-altering drugs, when prescribed to children, have an adverse effect on brain development. Kennedy noted that “prior to the introduction of Prozac, we had almost none of these events in our country.” He then noted the amount of psychiatric drugs children in the U.S. are taking and claimed the National Institutes of Health refuse to research the possible link between these substances and mass shootings “because they’re working with the pharmaceutical industry.”
In 2018, the mental health watchdog group, Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR) International, produced a compelling 64-page report entitled Psychiatric Drugs Create Violence & Suicide: School Shootings and Other Acts of Senseless Violence, which details in excess of 60 examples of school and mass shootings, stabbings and other acts of senseless violent acts committed by those under the influence of psychotropic drugs or experiencing withdrawal symptoms. Jan Eastgate, President of CCHR, said, “The goal of this report is to help law enforcement, educators and policy makers to learn how psychotropic drugs are a hidden link to the prevalence of violence and suicide in the community. Facts, statistics, studies and expert opinion in the report show the medical concerns about the rise of senseless acts of violence coincident with the increase in psychotropic drug prescriptions and usage. Psychiatric drugs create dependence, suicide and violence in a percent of individuals taking them,” she continued. “That is a documented fact. The disastrous consequences are felt by all. As so many lives are at stake, it is vital that each person who is in a position to take action avail themselves of this information to help protect our communities.”
And it isn’t just powerful anti-psychotic prescription drugs contributing to the problem. Nikolas Cruz, the Florida shooter who killed 17 and wounded 17 others on Valentine’s Day in 2018, blamed his use of marijuana for some of his problems. After entering a plea of guilty on October 20, 2021, he apologized for his actions and added, “I hate drugs, and I believe this country would do better if everyone would stop smoking marijuana and doing all these drugs ....”
While Cruz’s comments were trashed on Reddit and by potheads in general, the National Library of Medicine published a report entitled A Review of Cases of Marijuana and Violence on February 29, 2020, indicating marijuana is associated with an increase in violent behavior. “According to research studies, marijuana use causes aggressive behavior, causes or exacerbates psychosis, and produces paranoia,” the report reads.
Of interest, serial killer Ted Bundy said on more than one occasion that he was always drinking and smoking marijuana when he went out trolling for victims.
And then there’s Aiden Fucci, the 14-year-old Florida boy who stabbed his 13-year-old schoolmate, Tristyn Bailey, to death in May 2021. Fucci had allegedly been smoking marijuana since around age 10, and his best friend described him as a “big pothead,” who never wanted to talk about anything other than marijuana, death and killing.Sources: Miles Klee, Rolling Stone, June 5, 2023; Ariana Baio and Josh Marcus, Independent, June 5, 2023; Citizens Commission on Human Rights International, March 22, 2018; WTLV, October 20, 2021, State of Florida v. I've always said these drugs they're prescribing for children are behind all these mass shootings. Kennedy is right, there weren't shootings all the time before doctors and parents started drugging kids every time they misbehaved. There were kids who misbehaved when I was in school, but parents and teachers managed to control them without drugs. There was no such thing as ADHD and all the other psuedo-conditions psychiatrists diagnose kids having today, and there were no school shootings either.

RFK Jr. talks to dead people and his campaign manager sees UFOs, but he's probably right about there being a link between psychotropic drugs and mass shootings.

RFK Jr. talks to dead people and his campaign manager sees UFOs, but he's probably right about there being a link between psychotropic drugs and mass shootings. After saying he talked to dead people, he apparently thought about how it sounded and did a followup interview in which he said, "They are one-way prayers for strength and wisdom. I get no strategic advice from the dead." But I agree he's more than likely correct about all the drugs prescribed to kids today contributing to mass shootings. Since mass shootings were few and far between before kids were medicated out of their minds, and there's a mass shooting every few days since the US started medicating young children, it stands to reason there's a connection. I think social media has also contributed to the increase in shootings, but if something wasn't wrong with their thought process, these freaks probably wouldn't have ever gotten to the point where they wanted to kill people for no reason.

I'm relieved that I'm not the only one who thinks he's probably right about a link between school shootings and mind-altering drugs. I read an article today on the IrishCentral site where the author said really awful things about Kennedy because he supposedly believes:
• There are microchips in vaccines so that satellites invented by Bill Gates can control the world from space. (I never heard of this and whatever he did say was probably taken out of context.)
• Anti-depressants lead to school shootings. (I agree, and it's not just anti-depressants.)
• Chemicals in tap water are impacting children's sexuality. (I also think this is a possibility.)
• The COVID-19 pandemic was "ethnically targeted." (I don't know enough about this to form an opinion.)
If this isn't considered too political, I'd very much like to know what everyone else thinks, and a poll to see what others believe would be interesting. Like most everyone else active in this group, I'm Republican, but I don't like to see anyone attacked the way the press – in this case, the foreign press, – is attacking Kennedy. • The COVID-19 pandemic was "ethnically targeted." (I don't know enough about this to form an opinion.) Back in 2020, there was a rumor that Bill Gates was aiding in the development of a coronavirus vaccine that would introduce a microchip into each person vaccinated, and RFK Jr. shared it on Instagram. Even though numerous people share all sorts of unsubstantiated rumors on their Instagram and other social media accounts, three years later, he’s still being condemned as a lunatic for sharing this particular story.
It has been discovered that people with certain blood types, etc., seem to have an immunity to certain diseases/conditions, so it is conceivable that a virus could be created to target certain ethnic groups and spare others, so what he said isn’t as “wild” as the news media would have us believe.
Thank you for linking the article, although I have no idea why a news reporter (and I use the term loosely) in Ireland would consider it appropriate to criticize a man running for president of the United States, when it’s really none of his business who runs or whom we elect.

Thanks for the explanation. Most authors and journalists don't seem to know the definition of "integrity" anymore; they just write anything because they know people won't bother to find out if it's the truth or not.
So blood type has something to do with immunity to specific diseases or conditions? I never knew that.

I agree with some of what Kennedy says, like the school shooter psyho-drug connection, but I'd rather see him as Trump's running mate. And before any of you ask, no, the president and vice president do not have to belong to the same party. He could remain a Democrat and still run on the Republican ticket. But if he doesn't join the Trump ticket, he should choose Billy Joel's "You May Be Right" as his campaign theme song: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jo9t5XK0FhA

The lame stream media and other Dims are calling him the "The Crackpot of Camelot," saying he's crazy, a lunatic, or whatever, so he should capitalize on it. Can you imagine how the Kennedy family and the "woke" liberals would react when he came on the stage at rallies or ran TV ads with
You may be right, I may be crazy, But it just might be a lunatic you're looking for,

If he does join Trump, I think he would switch parties. The Democrats consider him an embarrassment and obviously don't want him, and there are Republicans who like some of what he's saying, so I think he'd have a much better chance as a Republican.

Thanks for the explanation. Most authors and journalists don't seem to know the definition of "integrity" anymore; they just write anything because they know people won't bother to find out if it's the truth or not.
So blood type has something to do with immunity to specific diseases or conditions? I never knew that. When the China virus pandemic began, some researchers discovered that those with blood type A were possibly more susceptible, and it was suggested people with type O blood, particularly those who were Rh-negative, possibly possessed antibodies protecting them against the more severe symptoms. The researchers also found that a blood protein often found in A and B blood types could be responsible for the more serious complications associated with the virus. (For additional information, see Time Magazine, June 27, 2023.)
Blood type is a factor in many diseases/conditions. For example, those with type O blood are much less likely to develop Alzheimer’s or other conditions associated with cognitive decline than those having A, B or AB blood types.
Additionally, blood group B individuals have the highest incidence of Type 2 diabetes, while the O people are the least likely to develop the condition. When it comes to heart attacks, those with type A, B and AB are much more likely to experience heart failure than those who are type O. The non-O types also are more likely to develop brain tumors, NAFLD (non-alcoholic fatty liver disease), tuberculosis, and colorectal, ovarian and pancreatic cancer. And those with type B blood are more susceptible to obesity and hypertension.
While type O people seem to have a lower risk for many health problems overall, men with type AB blood are the least likely to develop prostate cancer, and type AB women have a lower incidence of breast cancer. Additionally, those with type O blood have a higher incidence of lung cancer, while those with type A have the least.
The highest incidence of bone cancer occurs in type B individuals, type A people are more likely to develop stomach cancer or have a stroke, and leukemia has a higher incidence in those with type O blood.
Different blood types have different antigens and it is the antigens that target, or offer protection against, some viruses. Accordingly, it isn’t inconceivable that scientists could engineer a virus targeting a specific ethnic group. Nonetheless, what RFK Jr. actually said was:
“... The people who are most immune are Ashkenazi Jews and Chinese. We don’t know whether it was deliberately targeted that [sic] or not.”
As a Republican, I am loathe to defend a Democrat, but it’s obvious Mr. Kennedy is being targeted by liberals, including the lame stream media, who take what he says out of context, as they did in this instance, or outright lie.

This is fascinating! I never knew that blood type had anything to do with what kind of disease a person might get.

This is fascinating! I never knew that blood type had anything to do with what kind of disease a person might get. A lot depends on a person's lifestyle, but it's helpful knowing if you have a propensity for certain diseases. I feel sorry for Kennedy. It's bad enough when the liberals go after Republicans, now, they're turning on their own.

Boy did they twist his words! The DIMocrats have always worshiped the Kennedys, but since he dared say men don't belong on women's sports teams, they've turned on him like a pack of pit bulls.

Why are the liberals so down on Kennedy because he believes there's a link between all these drugs they're doping kids with today and school shootings? Instead of calling him a kook for saying it, wouldn't everyone be better served if they tried to find out if there's a connection? Personally, I think there's a connection. As others said, there were no school shootings before kids were drugged and now there's a shooting every few days, so the two must be connected.
