We went to the Great Florida Bigfoot Conference in Ocala last Saturday and had a good time. Some of it was a little hokey, but some of the speakers were interesting. I know a couple in Putnam County who saw Bigfoot one night, but I had no idea there had been so many sightings in Florida. Some of the sightings we heard about were a little iffy and others were probably more wishful thinking than an actual sighting, but all in all, it was worth the time and drive.

Thanks for sharing that. Madeline and I and a friend of hers are going to the Paranormal Expo in Little Rock in October and it will include ghosts, UFOs and creatures. I'm hoping there will be people there with an interest in ghosts other than those goofy ghost hunters in black T-shirts and baseball caps. I like to talk with people who go to haunted places and learn the stories behind them and maybe write stories about them, not EVPs, orbs and demons.

Is there any word yet on the dates of this event? I may go unless it's at the time we go to the Adirondacks.

No date has been announced. Thanks for checking. Last year I think it was in July, so it probably isn't going to be held this year because vendors need to plan ahead.
